A friend at church highly recommended this book. She said that it is amazing!
So I bought one yesterday and I hope to start reading it today. Has anybody read this book yet? Let me know what you think. Have a great day,

I've read this book. I think it is very interesting though controversial. It is a novel so I think you can enjoy it even if you don't completely agree with it theologically. It certainly is a popular book right now.

Hi Ginger,
I read it and enjoyed it very much. As your reading it keep in mind that it is a dream and it is a novel. I would highly recommend it to a Christian that was grieving. Our book club read it and we had some interesting conversation to say the least.
It will make you think.

PS I found you on Charlotte's blog. I hope you don't mind my 2cents :)

I look at your interesting blog everyday. However, it's apparent you don't look at mine. (Just teasing. I realize you have better things to do). Monday, Feb.18, I wrote "A Book Worth Reading." I like the Shack but I do think that some will find it confusing and maybe even disturbing. Others will love it and benefit from it--especially those who are struggling with some loss.

Hi Ginger!

I was going to pose a similar question on my own blog. Hmm. Great minds?

I thought the book was very thought provoking and comforting. Like Charlotte said, it's a novel--fiction. There were some parts that were a little hard to accept theologically, but the author was making a point to shake up our concept of God in many ways. I've thought about it alot since reading it.

BTW, welcome to the Company Girls! (A belated welcome)
