Lukewarm

I don't view you as "lukewarm" for the Lord Ginger. You don't have to shout from a mountain top to be a witness for the Lord. Not everyone finds him in the same way. Maybe your spirit is for those that need a quieter, more peaceful introduction to Him.

I try to live my life every day as He would have me live. Do I shout from the mountain tops.. no.. But I am an example to everyone that meets me... and I know that in my way, I have touched a heart or two for the Lord. He knows my heart... Amen

I agree with Dixie. Your life is an example of what a Christian should be. Others see Him in you.That's a way to be evangelistic. Could we all do more in reaching out to others. Yes! In a few days I will be reviewing on my blog a book that asks, "What does God expect of us?." This is a book that nails all of us. Keep on being you. I see Christ in you.

You don't have to shout the message out all the time. I think people see the way we live our lives and how we treat people. That speaks volumes - it's a witness. I'm certainly not afraid to tell someone what I believe, but I think people know there is something different about a Believer when God is shining through. I agree with everyone who says that you don't need to shout, but we do have to be cautious about allowing our "testimony" to speak for us. We need to put some actions behind our love and stretch beyond our comfort zone. I think I "got" your message, Ginger.

What I heard in your writing is that you desire more boldness to witness your love for the Lord. Hooray for you, dear sister. I'm with you on this. May the Lord give us opportunities and may He do it through us so it's not so scary.

I too am luke warm at times and don't want to be spit out of His mouth. God searches and knows the heart- God is in your heart working His will in you- let Him move you at His pace- He knows you inside out and He has a purpose for you much you are filling now by sharing His word to bring others to the kingdom. Keep teaching here until God says go forth. Be blessed and encouraged. We all need each other to make this journey.

Your love for the Lord comes thur to us on your blog so it must be a very strong love for HIM.
There are so many ways to witness, you know. I am not one to walk up to someone and say "do you know the Lord" but I am kind and I follow the Golden Rule and I pray. Others see this...and hopefully, they follow. THAT is one way to witness...there are lots of others.
I will never be the person God want's me to be...I am too human..but I sure will go down trying...

I belive that you are "HOT" and that you witness the Lord through your blog. As a dear friend told me -"we all minister and witness to the Lord in different ways and do not have to shout from the mountain to witness" Your Spiritual Sunday touched my heart and I sent your blog address to my sister.

I guess I find myself praying for others more then speaking to them about their faith in Jesus . I send E-mail about Jesus and try to use my Blog to spread the word as much as I can . It's not easy , I'm a shy person . I feel God will show us what He wants us to do . I feel mine is to pray for others and incurage those in need .
