I just finished reading this book called Grandma I Need Your Prayers, Blessing Your Grandchildren through the Power of Prayer by Quin Sherrer, and Ruthanne Garlock. In this book they quoted the verse in the Bible Ephesians 14 -19. I use this verse often when I pray for our grandchildren. They need our prayers daily to be able to survive in our world today. This is always so heavy on my heart and I pray for all 3 daily!
Ephesians 14 - 19
For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

I always make such a mess when I water my house plants ( all two of them). I have always used a glass until I discovered this trick. One day I saw a water bottle with a small amount of water in it so I just used it for my two house plants. It was a no mess no fuss experience. So now I have water in it at all times and I keep it under my sink. It makes it easy for me to just grab it and water my two house plants when ever I think about it. I'm sure if you have more than two house plants you may need a bigger water bottle than this one.

I guess this is heavy on my heart because last night I had a dream that a family had been sneaking in our home during the late night sleeping and eating.
That's so funny how we dream about things that are so heavy on our hearts.

This is going to be a different kind of post, it's not about anything around the house or what I bought yesterday or the day before, actually it's not about buying anything at all.
My heart hurts for so many people right now that I have had a hard time posting lately. My mother inlaw has to move after living in the same house for 45 years or so, and she is almost 80 she has been so blessed to have been able to live where she is for so long, we were just hoping that this day would not come. The owners need to sell the house that she has called home for so many years. This will not be an easy move by any means so please keep her in your prayers.
I just found out that a couple that we know are going to lose their home. They have lived their for 20 years, they took money out to start a business that was very lucrative, as times started to get bad people stopped paying them. There are so many reason why people are losing there homes, not just because of bad loans.
Everyday I feel so blessed to have a place that my husband and I can call home.

I'm not taking a blog break again but I may be changing the contents of my blog for awhile. I love dish towels, I have pretty dish towels and I have not so pretty dish towels. I love the pretty towels, I just can't count on them to get the job done, they don't dry very well at all. So these towels are just for looks, they are the towels I use for display. I keep them on one side of the drawer in the kitchen. Then I have some on the other side of the drawer that are not so pretty. They are used and they are worn, but I always reach for them because they get the job done, I pass up the pretty ones to get to the used and worn ones because they are faithful!
What kind of Christians are we? Are we just for display? Do we just stand there with our pretty bibles in our hands?
Are we the kind Christians that people pass up because we don't get the job done? Or are we the kind of Christian that people reach for? We have are used and worn bibles in our hands ready and waiting because we are faithful! This is the kind of Christian I want to be, I don't want people to pass me up I want them to reach for me!

My husband is the type of man that very seldom has to say the words where did I put this, or what did I do with such and such. His dresser drawers are perfect, he cleans as he cooks, well I could go on but I will spare you.
We always take turns making coffee and last night was his turn, we make it the night before and use the timer so it's ready when we wake up. Well this morning the coffee pot went on but there was no coffee, he forgot to put water in the pot.
HE~~HE~~ HE~~ I just love when he does silly little things like this.
