Good morning Ginger~ Your kitchen lay-out is very similar to mine. Quite the gathering place! Just lovely.
And oh~ I meant to mention color. I love pale yellow.
I love your kitchen...very stylish! I think yellow would be a nice option, but I would lean towards a shade that has an earthy undertone, like wheat. Not too sunny, which would lend itself more to light cabinetry.
Either way, you seem to have excellent taste, and I'm sure you will end up with a beautiful colour!
Lovely blog you have here!!

Love, love, love your kitchen. Thats what I want my kitchen to look like when it grows up. Thanks for posting the pictures Ginger.
God has created us with a creative spirit and for love of all kinds of colors and textures--He has to be awesome--Just look at his creation; He must have had some fun creating this Universe!!! He has given you that same spirit, so I wouldn't appologize for it--it is a matter of balance ;-).
What a beautiful kitchen! If you go yellow I would go more to the warm golden yellows. When you look at paint chips go to the yellows that are closer to the oranges rather than the greens on the rack...I hope that makes sense???
Your kitchen is so pretty! I love it, love it, love it!

P.S. You asked me about my neighbor with breast cancer. I have knocked on her door twice and left a note for her to call me. We still have not spoken, but I dropped by some muffins and tucked them inside her screen door. I am hoping to finally visit with her tomorrow. Thank you for asking. I can't wait to visit with her!
OMG! You have a beautiful kitchen! Wow!!!
