Dream Home

Posted by Ginger~~Enchanting Cottage

Cindy at Romantic Home showed some of her dream homes today, and asked to share ours so here are some of my dream homes. I love homes that have ivy or climbing fig on it. So I need to ask myself self why don't you plant some ivy on your home????? I had a hard time finding more pictures so if you come across one you think I might like let me know. I hope to see your dream homes as well.

Hi Ginger,
Glad you liked Practical Magic. It's one of my favorite movies.
I love the Cottage in the Holiday.
Have a lovely weekend!

Hi Ginger, what lovely homes those are~but I've seen the pics you've posted of yours and they are very pretty, too. It is fun to dream of that 'perfect' house, isn't it? I find myself doing that at times. One of my favorite ways to look at houses is to watch movies with great houses in them. Half the time I pay more attention to the houses than the movie, LOL! I especially love the houses in Christmas movies, like It's a Wonderful Life and Hallmark's Season for Miracles. There are many, many more I like, of course, those are just two of them. Have a great day!

Actually my dream home is much like yours. I would want a modern large kitchen however. Perhaps an early 1900's two story brick, with a veranda that wraps around the front.

Ginger, I love the ivy covered houses. I really like the house in The Holiday even though it's a 2-story and looks large on the outside it's just a little English cottage. Very quaint.
We have lots of Virginia Creeper in our garden and yard and I've been told by my exterminator to never let it grow on the house as it will harbor little creatures so I've never covered my porch like I want to. My DH hates spiders so he definitely won't take a chance but I think it's just beautiful. I love the pictures you posted!!!
