Cindy at Romantic Home showed some of her dream homes today, and asked to share ours so here are some of my dream homes. I love homes that have ivy or climbing fig on it. So I need to ask myself self why don't you plant some ivy on your home????? I had a hard time finding more pictures so if you come across one you think I might like let me know. Favorit time of day

I was wondering what is every body's favorite time of day? You know when its all you can do to wait for that time. And what do you like to do during that time of day?

My time is morning! I love everything about it. It is so peaceful to me. I wake up at 4 am and I have to be to work at 6 am I live about 4 min. from my work so I have a good amount of time in the mornings but it never seems to be long enough. What I like most about the mornings is your right COFFEE! I enjoy everything about it to picking what

cup I am going to use to choosing what pretty spoon I am going to stir my coffee with and what pretty napkin I will put my spoon on. So here are my all time favorites.

My kitchen

I am not sure if I ever posted pictures of my kitchen or not so here they are again. I still need to get a window treatment. I do think I will get a white shutter because our home needs light colors. I have been trying to think of a color I could add to make it look softer but have not decided yet. About 6 years ago or so we painted the inside of our home that tan color now every ones home has the same color. Its nice to have a home that is just different. In my little head I have been thinking of a color to paint the living room that is different than every house I go into. I was thinking of a color that would bring out the beauty of the wood cabinets rather than blend, maybe a soft soft buttery yellow? Any suggestions? My husband is my #one reader so I am sure by now he is thinking of something but not a color! Tomarrow I will post a picture of our old kichen.( I need to find it )Be thinking of colors I need help!!!!

Someone Shared a New Blog With Me

I wanted to share the picture at the top of my blog. They are my garden shoes and my grandsons garden shoes.We both love to play in the dirt and he is becoming such a good helper! I will always treasure these moments.

Dishes

In my last post I ask what people like to collect. Well in general we all like the same things. Maybe that's why we are all here. I love to see what dish or linen that someone bought somewhere. Well I forgot to mention that I to love dishes although I think of it more as an obsession rather than a collection. I love to have a pretty table. Here are my recent buys I bought at Ross for less than $5.00 each

Collecting Things

What do you like to collect? I love to hear about peoples collections.

I have not collected much over the years but I do love linens everthing from bed linens to table linens to dish towels, LOVE LINENS. I also like white pitchers here are some of mine. When we did our kitchen these small shelfs were empty for about a year or so. I just did not know what to put there until one day it just happen. I love rugs as well, I don't have but 3 here is my favorite.

Bunko

Well a picture tells a thousands words, yep tonight is bunko. There are 12 ladies from church that get together once a month and its my turn tonight. There are always so many goodies to eat and of course the calories don't count when you are with people you care about. So why is it I always clean better when I have company? I need to have company more often my house would be in great shape then. Well with that in mind I better go and start to clean.

Southern Living at Home Party

I had one of those home parties that nobody likes going to but me. But to my surprise I had 11 people show up it was so much fun. I got $600.00 in free product and here is why I had the party because I wanted this fireplace screen.

I got an 8 piece place setting with 8 charges as well so I will post a picture of that when I set the table. If anyone has a chance to have one of these parties its a lot of fun. But that is it no more iron in my home I need to add WHITE and more WHITE and FLOWERS and more FLOWERS!

Sid Dickens

I love Sid Dickens Art tiles. There are just so many. They are simple and elegant. I only have one and it was a gift I don't see myself getting anymore in the near future for two reason the first is they are very pricey and secsond my husband does't realy care for them. So I just keep the one and lonley tile that I do have where I can see it daily and it brings a smile to my face. Here is one of his web pages you might enjoy

The soap is so pretty I hate to open it so I will wait awhile but the Lavender spray I will use tonight my DH already put in on the night stand.That was so thoughtful of you. You are so talented.

My favorite plate

I only have one of these precious plates, but the memory that goes with it is priceless. I bought it with my grandma when I was just in my late teens and she took be to my first Thrift store and from there on I was hooked! I am forever on the hunt for more of these precious plates but have not come acorss any. So the hunt is still on!

Another picture of coffee table

I just wanted to post another picture of the coffee table because I forgot to mention the .99cent wire server I bought at the Goodwill ( I am so happy they open this Goodwill) and here is a closer look at the wire server

Well I took a picture of the throw blanket that I bought for 19.99 at Marshalls. I saw it one day went home and kept thinking how perfect it matched so I went back the next day and bought it. I was glad it was still there, it was the only one.

It is kinda different kinda pasley ( young looking ) but hey thats okay.

The Goodwill

I was so excited yesterday I found this beautiful mirror at the goodwill.I called my husband to tell him about because normally if its at the goodwill he's more cline not to like it. I discribed it to him and he said sure sounds nice. I thought I might paint it white but then it would not go with the rest of my house except a bedroom and I wanted to put in the dinner room. Well we decided it's perfect the way it is and its home will be on the dinning room wall. The best thing is it was only $15.00
