Proverbs

Posted by Ginger~~Enchanting Cottage

I bought this book for our granddaughter it is called
God's Wisdom For Little Girls by Elizabeth George. I think all of us women like Proverbs 31:10-31, this book is from those scriptures. It is so precious, each picture is so pretty, it's perfect for a little girl. I hope it will bring wonderful memories to her as she get's older as we do the things together in this book.

Dear Lord,
I pray Lord that you will be with our granddaughter each and everyday. I pray that you will touch her mom's heart Lord and give her the desire to want you. I pray that you will give my son the strength that he needs to wake up on Sundays with his daughter and go to church and maybe someday his wife will follow.
It's in your name Lord
Amen,

Ginger

Hi Ginger,
I so love anything Elizabeth George writes, you have chosen a fine book for your granddaughter. My grandmother played a very important roll in my life, as far as teaching me about the love of God, and like you I am trying to follow in those steps.
I will join you in this most heartfelt prayer.
Blessings,
Sue

What a wonderful post, Ginger. I'm joining you in praying that prayer and I know the book will become very meaningful to Lennie. She is such a cutie. I can tell that her Daddy adores her. I don't know her mother, but I'm sure she does too.
Have a wonderful Sunday.
Blessings,
Charlotte

I LOVE Elizabeth George books. She is just wonderful. I have a women's bible study group that meets at my house on Friday mornings and we are currently going through one of her books. I am excited to hear about this book for little girls. I have 4 precious granddaughters and all of them would love this book I'm sure. Nice idea for a Christmas gift. Thanks for sharing this. Agreeing with you in your prayer. Blessings to you, Debbie

Ginger, that is also my prayer for my son and dil. We are praying for him to return to his walk with the Lord, and for dil to follow. Our grands aren't in SS anymore, and we pray for the Lord to speak to their hearts and minds, revealing His love for them, and their need to come back to Him. I bought my little grandgirl God's Little Devotional for Kids...she reads it every night and has asked me to get her more books like it, so I'm going to get this one. We just have to continue praying for our kids....I know God will answer in His timing.

Beautiful book. I'm sure your granddaughter will cherish it. I don't have any grandchildren yet (hope to get there one day), but I do know that grandmothers have a great influence over their granddaughters. Our daughter (23) is crazy about her Nana.

In Ephesians 2:13 Paul wrote, “But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. Praise God for His gift of grace”.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a note! Have a glorious week. Blessings.

Looks like a nice book. I'm also praying for our grandchildren. When my daughters were very young I started praying for Christian husbands for them, - and today, they have wonderful Christian husbands! PTL!
