Here I was thinking about it over a month and then it just came to me. I have always always wanted to live in a cottage then my husband and I remodeled our home, and with in a blink of an eye it was like more of an old world style rather than a cottage. So I am trying to mix the two together. My passion is cottage style gardens that is how everything got started with me and our home. We were so busy with the inside that the outside was on hold. But now I am trying to work on both but its hard to decide where the money should go inside or out.

But for now the outside just needs weeding and some T.L.C and after that I will start to buy lots more flowers. I just got this table ( free ) for outside it needs some work but I think I can do it. We have a glass top one now and it always looks dirty so I am hoping this turns out nice here is the picture

I can not decide what color to paint it I was thinking white at first then black to go with my chairs ,I have a long time untill it is ready to paint so I will post an after picture for everyone. In the morning I will post more pictures of my garden ( I will try to leave the weeds out )

Well I am thinking of a new title for my blog. I am sure it will take me a while because it needs to be something that I will keep this time. When I first started this blog it was going to be more about my frugal life style,then I just started talking about our home and the passion was there. I will alway be frugal because I want to be and because I need to be. I feel being frugal just helps everyone not just myself.
So anyway I will be having a new name soon and I hope that all of my 3 readers still come and visit.

Okay I have a secret, I have this passion for fountains in the garden, I have 3 and just bought another one but it was such a good price it was marked down to $25.00 It is a small fountain for the patio. It is so cute it has a watering can that the water comes out of. My husbands friend gave us a fountain to hang on the wall, we are going to put it on the back of the house that would be a bedroom wall and then we can see it when we are outside and here it when we are inside I wanted to paint it a bronze color before we put it up , it is a grey color with white dots on it now. I am going to plant a climbing fig on the wall and keep it trimmed around the fountain, I will take before pitchers and after. It will take some time before the fig gets full enough to cover the wall.

Well here is the sign I bought yesterday, sorry about the flash I will get better the more I do it ( hopefully ) What is so nice is my husband likes the sign just as much as I do.

I don't have very much color in our home so this greenish color stands out.

Its going to be a busy weekend end so come Monday I hope I can get some weeding done it's pretty bad!!!

Okay, I confess I went shopping yesterday my grand total that I spent was about $55.00 and I feel so guilty. I just don't go shopping much anymore so I guess $55.00 is not so bad if I look at it like that. I just think sometimes its jut STUFF I don't really need. Today I will try to post a picture of the sign I bought for $14.00 it's beautiful it says BELIEVE on it. I like have small words around that say something about Jesus I have another one that says PRAY on it.I hope that people know I have the Lord in my life just by my personality but I still like them to know it when they see small things like the believe and pray signs in our home.

I got some sad news last night a lady from our church past away. Katie Sharp is her name and she had two grandson one almost 4 ( the same age as mine ) and a newborn. She had cancer about 5 or 6 years ago and just the past two weeks she has not felt good at all. I think she knew what was going on. The doctor told her the same thing they told her the first time that they can't see anything and that you are a anemic. Thats what I was told from another lady at church. I think thats when she knew right then! We shared a bond with our grandchildren she loved them soooo much as I do mine. Well she can watch over them from a special place called Heaven!

Well it seems like I want to be home all time so I can work in my garden! There is just so much that has to be done and the you have the things that you want to do.
I think that I will take turns first I will do what I want to do. I have been wanting to make a couple of fairy gardens to sell. That's the frugal part in me I think if I can sell somethings to make extra money then that can go to my garden. I am in the process of redoing my hill, yes that's right I have a silly hill in my garden it is so hard to have a cottage garden on a hill. I am going to use some hedge's to make the hill seem smaller and then in front of the hedge's is where I will put my boarder. It will help with weeding. I am trying to make it so it is easier to maintain so as I get older I can still do the work myself. I have had guys come and weed for me but they always weed my new seedlings so that just does not work.Until next time have a blessed day.

I am so excited I just got a new camera so I can't wait to take lots of pictures of my garden and some of the fun things around here.
The camera was a gift from my DD MIL she is a nice lady, very giving. I have been thinking about changing the name of my blog to something more exciting but nothing has cross my mind yet. Well my DD and grandsons are on there way here so I better go for now.

It has been a while sense my last post I have been very busy. I planted a walk way with box woods our front yard, its very sweet. I was hoping to get more done in the garden before it gets to hot but that didn't happen. The ladies at church wanted me to have an outing at my home in my garden but its just not up to par, I am weird when it comes to that I like have things just so. It would cost a pretty penny all at once if I were to decide to do. Plus with it being so hot its just not a good idea. It so hard being frugal when it comes to gardening. I do have some seeds I need to plant but its too hot now I will have to wait until fall.
