dumpster diving

Okay so maybe I should not say where I found this head board and foot board but the title tells all. I could not take a picture of the foot board because now but I will take a picture of them both before I paint it. What color should I paint white or black. I think black with white linen would be very pretty. What do you think. My sister in law was with me when I found this head a foot board so you can just imagine the laughing that was going on.

I'm thinkin' black. Black with white linens sounds very pretty. Hope the special meeting at your church goes well.

Very nice find! I can't quite make out the detail---angels flying? I think black or white would look great...I'm not good at painting furniture~ seeing as I have a handful of pieces that I picked up at yardsale, and haven't touched them yet. :)

How about white and highlight the details like Cindy at ROMANTIC HOME does? OR, black would be beautiful, too. Whatever you do to it, I know it will be so pretty.

Gosh, I don't know. I love both!!! What does your other furniture look like in the room? I love white on white though....you are asking the wrong person here. haha. If you do black then you may be stuck if you want to change out the linens from all white. Great find! Let us know what you do.

Should I even dare to tell you........How about RED?????
I know it might sound too bright for a bed, but I get triple prices out of RED painted items!!!!!!Come see my chandelier on todays post!
I think I heard that in Japan dumpster surfing is called Gomey digging and its a past time there!
RED WHITE BLACK I sure it will be beautiful!!!

WoW! What a find! I think I'd consider the rest of the room...white is beautiful, but black is so crisp with white accents! Cant wait to see the "after!"

Personally I love everything to be pink and or white :0)

Just today my sister and I went "treasure hunting" in the next town (is heavy pick-up time). Good ol' stuff is so much fun.
