The Valentine theme is beautiful but it's a shame all the other stuff disappeared. Clif had that happen to him when he changed templates but he didn't have nearly as much to lose as you did. You had so much great stuff there. It's a shame that when you change a blog it can't be reversed. The blog people need to work on that. But since it's free I guess we can't complain too much.
I've been thinking about doing the bookcase - thought about doing it today but decided on something else. I will do that bookcase soon.

Ginger~ This is one of the reasons I love visiting your blog...it's never boring! I think you are very talented at designing your blog in different ways! The tea cups, etc... are just beautiful...reminds me of a lovely cup I cherish :)

I'm glad to see you're getting stuff added back to your sidebar. You had so much great stuff there it will give you something to do for awhile. As if you didn't have enough to do already, huh.
Nancy called last night and I talked to her and Vivian for about an hour. Nancy told me all about her party.
Today I'm having my fourth shot in the knee. Next Tuesday will be the last one. And will I be glad!!!
Have a great day.

Oh Ginger, I'm sorry too. I like your background and I hope you can get all your sidebar back together.
I always worry I'll loose something when I make changes...I even get worried when I put up a new post. Hugs, Linda

I am like you, Ginger...if I try just one thing new, I usually mess up my entire blog. Then, if I lose things, I don't know how to get them back. I was just thinking the other day if I should "back" things up in case I lost my entire blog some day.
Thanks for coming by and leaving such nice words on my living room.
hugs, bj

Welcome to the frustrating world of trying to create and update blogs with the limited instructions that seem to be available. I went with WordPress because neither of the names I wanted was available on Blogger, but I actually think you Blogger folks end up with nicer looking blogs. None of the themes we have available for our free WP blogs were what I wanted, so I had to make do and tweak the best one I could find.

And, trying to learn how to create the sidebars was a real pain. You'd think they'd have a complete set of instructions, but no, you have to wade through the forums to learn how to do anything.

To help you with the problem you experienced, let me offer this. If your Blogger program will show you the codes it uses if you use a visual editor, make a copy of them for each sidebar. WP offers both options for its posts and pages but makes us write our own codes for the sidebars. I've kept a copy of exactly what coding is in each one. I just saved it all for each sidebar in a Microsoft Word file. I'm hoping that if something disappears, I can go to what I've saved and just put it all back in the right places.

Hi Ginger,
Just saw your last comment on my blog. We are both learning things about each other that we did not know. I think that's great.
Say Hi to your hubby for me.
