Mail Boxes

Posted by Ginger~~Enchanting Cottage

Well we have needed new mail boxes for about a year now, so we finaly went with our neighbors to pick one out that we both liked. We decided to get a mailbox with a lock on it. The old mail boxes you can just touch and they would wiggle, so it was just anyday that they were going to fall. I had so much fun picking out our new mail boxes. Here are the before pictures and after.

I was visiting Penny at http://lavenderhillstudio.blogspot.com/ and she shared some other blogs on her post the other day, so I visited this one http://evascountry.blogspot.com/ It is so beautiful. Although its not in english she does write in english on the bottom of her post. I just love all of her pictures also. And then of course it is the never ending of looking at all of her favorite blogs. Its a not wonder I don't get much done!!
Have a blessed day,
ginger

Love those new mailboxes. Having them locked is great. How does the mail person put the mail in it? Do they have a key?

Beautiful mailboxes! It's nice to hear neighbors doing something together. These are the kind we need on our block--locked and look strong enough to withstand teens (in the area)swinging bats that think it is funny to knock mailboxes. In the last 20 years we have replaced 4-5 mailboxes.

These are beautiful! We have a real problem with kids smashing mailboxes here too. A neighbor made his own out of steel! hasn't had to buy a new one since though! lol

I love those mailboxes! You're fortunate to have neighbors with similiar taste so they go together so well! I think having a key is a very good idea!
