Hello friends, It amazes me how fast time goes by. February was my anniversary, it has been four years that  I have been  blogging and I'm so thank-ful for all of my blogging friends that  have come into my life, you have all touched my heart. My blog first started as a domestic blog and as time went on  my heart Begin to be heavy and empty. I knew that there was something out there that I needed, that something was all of you my friends. Spiritual Sundays has touched my heart and has brought a new meaning to blogging for me. All of you often pop up in my mind during the week and my prayers are always with those who ask,and even for some who don't ask. I get tears in my eyes just knowing that someday the Lord will introduce us all.  May you all have a blessed week.

Love of Wonder

Whether sixty or sixteen, there
is in every human being's heart
the love of wonder,the sweet
amazement at the stars and
starlike things, the undaunted
 challenge of events,the unfailing
childlike appetite for what-next,
and the joy of the game of living.

Here is the poem that I wanted to post last week,I hope you enjoy it. This is a poem by a man name Mike Bullock.
Resolution
I've made a resolution
I think you'll be impressed
I'm going to take a step of faith
And slowly get undressed
Removing things that I've accrued
The baggage I've amassed
The trappings gained from sources wide
The weight of which is vast.
Underneath this bulging mass
There lies a simple soul
Simple walk, a simple faith
That's always been my goal
I've tried to do it many ways
The do's and don'ts are rife
But I am who I am, you see
An individual life.
So back to basics I will go
And get to know my Dad
A personal relationship
Is ready to be had
I've messed around these many years
And dropped out of the race
A simple walk, a simple faith
I need to seek His face.

Being Humble

Sometimes I wonder if I'm as humble as I would like to think I am, or more important am I as humble as the Lord would like me to be.

1 Peter 5:5
5 In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,
“God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”

Matthew 23:12
12 For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

James 4:6
6 But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:
God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.

Lunch Hours

I am very blessed to be able to go home for lunch, I live maybe 1 mile from work. So of course I go home for lunch, my lunch hour normally goes something like this. Empty dish washer, make lunch, check email, pay bills. It's anything but relaxing. I have decided to start taking my lunch to work and sit in my car and read the Bible. My work is on a hill and you can see miles and miles on a clear day it is the most beautiful view. Something about reading my Bible while looking out at our Lords creations is so fulfilling for me and helps reduce my stress level. How do you spend your lunch hour? Is this the time you like to read your Bible?

Please stop by Spiritual Sunday to read some wonderful blogs. It's such a blessing to read this blogs.

Happy New Year

I want to let everyone know how much I appreciate all of you. This past year I feel like I have been so blessed. Reading all of your post always touch my heart. Lately I don't feel like I have been a very good blog host, the past three months have been very busy for me at work, the older I get the harder it is to have a job that is so physical. Now that the holidays are behind us I hope to be a better host. Thank-you Charlotte for putting up with me over that last few months.

James 1:2-4Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

Merry Christmas

I just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. May the Lord be with you and your families during this busy time.

Luke 1:35
And the angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy–the Son of God.

Faith

Over the past two weeks I have not truly been myself. I ask for prayers and I want to thank-you. Our home was broken into a couple of weeks ago and it seems like each day I find something else they took. Someone ask me if it makes me question my faith. I was shocked, as this never even entered my mind. No matter what happens to me it will never affect my faith.

John 10:10

10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

I just wanted to let you know that I will be working this weekend Saturday and Sunday. My husband will be home reading Spiritual Sundays although he does not comment on them he does enjoy reading them. I will try hard to visit everyone.
