One More Day
By Annie Jone

God grant me the ability to take just one more day;

To conquer my fears, worries and doubts.

To find my lifes purpose and live my life out.

To eliminate my problems have all my mediocre issues flee.

To correct my life so I am happy in you and you With me.

ONE MORE DAY. ONE MORE DAY.

I THANK THEE LORD FOR ONE MORE DAY!

It is truly amazing what we can accomplish in one day. I'm reminded of the song, "One Day at a Time."

Lovely poem. We must not worry about the future and just take it one day at a time. And I'm glad that we can do everything in Christ's strength. Day after day. God bless.

This was a great poem and so true. Day in and day out, He gives us the strength. Blessings, Debbie

So, so true! Just when I think I have learned how to live one day at a time--oops, I slip up. I fall back into my old habit of looking back or looking ahead and missing the moment. Thanks for the reminder.

Reminds me of the song, "Always today, never tomorrow. Oh, can't we see, time we can't borrow."

How nice.
I find it overwhelming and have to stop myself from looking at too many days ahead. When I look at one day at a time I can see what needs to be done and accomplish something instad of worrying.
