Ecclesiastes 4:10
If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and
has no one to help him up.

I had my daughter at a very young age. I have never had the time or energy to truly have what you might call a best friend. After being married for 20 years I can truly say that my husband is there to give me his hand when I need it. Thank-you Lord for my best friend, my husband.
For more Spiritual Sundays click HERE or on the picture. Our two grandson's will be spending the night so it may take me a while to visit all of your wonderful post today, but I look forward to reading them all before the weekend is over.

I am blessed to have my husband as my best friend too, Ginger. I've had several "best friends" through the years but he definitely is the best of the best. God has blessed both of us in this way and in many other ways.
Hugs & blessings,
Charlotte

I enjoyed your short, sweet tribute to your husband. Thank you, God for the men you've brought into our lives.

Glory to God for all the wonderful relationships He gives us while we are here, needing encouragement and support. Until we return Home and have the Best Kind of Friendship that lasts forever. God bless and keep you.

As others have written, my hubby is my best friend/help mate ... haven't we been blessed?
I do hope you make time to read "The Diary of Anne Frank", Ginger. Here is one of my favorite quotes, " I know it's terrible trying to have any faith when people are doing such horrible... But you know what I sometimes think? I think the world may be going through a phase, the way I was with mother. It'll pass. Maybe not hundreds of years, but someday. - I still believe, in spite of everything, that people are really good at heart."

Have a wonderful new week!

Thank you for this post, for doing Spiritual Sundays and for commenting on my post. I missed getting a post connected to S.S. last weekend, even though I already had some I could have linked, so I linked yesterday in a hurry, without adding the S.S. link to it. I apologize for that.

That is so sweet! I am very grateful for my best friends. I've always taken this scripture personally and tried to be a friend to the friendless.

I don't enjoy having close friends. I have four grown children and my Mamma is my best friend. My husband has three sisters who are also my best friends and have been for 45 years. My husband and I do thing with them and their husbands. We always have fun. I'm glad your husband is your best friend. Doylene

Thanks for visiting Ginger. And yes....between the husband and the wife we fill each other's gaps...yes? without the other we would have somthing missing in parts of our lives that would never be filled. That's what marriage is about We complete each other.

Ginger, my husband is my best friend as well. We've enjoyed 20+ years together, too. It is much easier when you are friends with your spouse. God bless you and your family.

Since birth, I've had my wonderful identical twin sister who's always been there through thick and thin. I also have a great family and husband. I'm so blessed.

Thanks for reminding me.
