One time my camera was not working well and then I realized that there was a huge smudge mark on the lens. Check that first!

Having a big Thanksgiving Breakfast for your family sounds like a fabulous idea! If some of them go elsewhere for lunch or dinner that day, breakfast is a wonderful choice.
I am sorry for your hurt feelings...our kids can do that to us sometimes. We just have to work with them the very best we can, I think. For my family, Christmas Eve is MY time with all the family. Everyone comes here for dinner and opening gifts. It is such a wonderful time with our family and we so look forward to it every year. On Christmas Day, both son and his family and daughter and her family all go to their spouses parents house. Bill and I always spent Christmas Day with his sister...she passed away in the summer. Now, we spend the day with friends, cousins and etc. It has all worked out so well and I hope you can work things out with your family for holidays.

Pretty creative. I'll have to try it on my 5 yr. old grand-daughter.
My mother always made cupcakes for my son in ice cream cones. He still talks about that and he is 30! Little things mean a lot.

Ahhh...Just think how special you made you have made the day. When the turkey feast is over, the pumpkin pie is eaten~ the little ones will only remember the funny but creative breakfast Grandma made. This will be special. I know how hard it is to "share" our children. Actually, this is the first Thanksgiving in years we had all our children here...two of them surprised me, one came from out of town~ little stinkers~ no one let on what they had planned!

And my other surprise this week just came tonight...I can not tell you how touched I was by your gift & note. I know have a "favorite" beautiful toile coffee mug, and pumpkin spice coffee~ now I am not going to keep my nose out of this one :) ~ I love, love, love Pumpkin spice. I feel blessed. Thank you so very much.

Thank you for visiting my blog today! Your house sounds like ours at the holidays! Both sides of my family had holiday traditions, and when hubby and I married, it doubled the traditions! Now hubby has his side over for a fancy breakfast on Thanksgiving and Christmas, then we visit with my side of the family for dinner. It works (unless there is snow and everyone stays home! lol).

What a darling idea! I can't wait for grandkids some day!
