My garden

Posted by Ginger~~Enchanting Cottage

Here are some pictures I took yesterday while I was working out side. About 8 hours of yard work. When we first moved in about 18 years ago I told my husband lets plants some hedges, well now I tell him if those words ever come out of my mouth again PLEASE just put your hand over the mouth. I will show you pictures of all the hedges we have on another post but here are a few pictures I took yesterday. I have not planted any flowers yet because I just have to much other work to do first. Enjoy the pictures.
When I took this picture I did not even know the bird was
there, what a nice surprise.

This is on the right side of my house.

And this is on the left side of my house. I will show more pictures after I do more work in my garden.

Have a great day,

ginger

Your garden is so beautiful! I love the hedges, are they a lot of work to keep in shape? Your table is beautiful, did you do the mosaic?

Wow Ginger. Beautiful yard - beautiful pictures. I love the hedges but I know what you mean, they are hard to maintain. We had one for awhile across the front of our house in Stockton.

Ginger, your garden is lovely! I love your fountain (so fun to see the bird enjoying a shower!).

And the sweet table and chairs - of course I love! Did you do the mosaics?

Ginger, your garden is so beautiful and lush...it must bring you much pleasure. I saw a hydranga bush in one of the photos...it looks like it's getting ready to bloom...they are so pretty (I'm wondering what color it is).
Your fountain is gorgeous...I love it and so does that little birdie..... Happy May Day. hugs, Linda

I like it--I am awaiting the views of all the hedges--looks like you had some in the pictures. My hubby wants to plant a privacy hedge along one of the wood fences (and I agree). We saw some really nice ones in Seattle!

Oh my gosh- that side pic could be a fine magazine. I'd say you have a garden- not just a yard. Ohhhhhhhh I wish I had your talent of a green thumb. All the pictures are wonderful.

P.S. It was so nice to hear from you on my blog, which I haven't had the time to update lately. Wedding planning (3 weeks away), and I was sick for 2 weeks. Better now :)

I would love to have the hedges, Hummmmm maybe that should be my bare back yard project for the next 5 years. I know you have put your heart into it and it shows.

How beautiful, I especially love your side garden, I so wish I lived in an area that I could grow ficus trees outside as you do.
