Hello Friends,

I received a gift from a lady at church, it's a little book called Whispers of Faith. There are so many wonder little quotes and scriptures that I have been sharing them with you from time to time, here is another one from this little book of encouragement.

Pray Now
It is not a question of praying and asking God to help you,
it is the grace of God now.
We tend to make prayer the preparation for our service
yet it is never that in the Bible.
Prayer is the practice of drawing on the grace of God...Pray now,
draw on the grace of God in your moment of need.
By Oswald Chamber

Please take visit Spiritual Sunday  this weekend you may never now
how your heart will be touched.

Oh, that's for those words. I just read another devotional this very morning about prayer. So this was very pertinent :) :) OH, on a random note, I LOVE your new blog background. It's very cute and artsy :) :) Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

Yes, I get what he's saying. But then I think of the times I don't pray and the grace kicks in, too. Both are God's grace. Can't plumb the depth or width or breadth of it. Your post gave me yet another opportunity to try. Thanks, Ginger, for your visit. blessings on your day!

I like that vision of prayer. It's access to God's grace. Approach it that way and we'll pray more often. I need His grace many times during the day.

Thank you for posting this thought by Oswald Chambers. He touches the depth of the matter between God and us.

Blessings,
Janis
