Good Evening Ginger, Just today, I talked with the cashier at the local store who told me she has cancer. I have been seeing her weekly for nearly nine years. When I told her I would pray for her, she cried. We just never know the burdens those we deal with daily are carrying. Blessings to you and yours this weekend Ginger.

I think its great that Spiritual Sundays now has a prayer list.
Thanks for putting Ron on it. In fact, dear readers... I love all of you who have been praying for us. Thank you so much!
We know GOd hears prayer and answers prayer. It's not always when we want or in the way we want, but we must trust Him. His ways and His timing are perfect.

The book of James tells us that the effective prayer of the righteous can accomplish much.

Thank you Ginger for a reminder that we need to pray for one another.

Blessings,
Joan

Thank you for the exhortation to pray. I learned a lesson some time ago. Someone would ask me to pray for a need and I would say that I would definitely do that. After walking off, I never gave it another thought, much less a whisper of a prayer. And the same thing happened when I asked someone to pray for me.

The Lord has prompted me to change that. When someone asks me to pray for a need, no matter if it is in person, by email, on Blogger, or Facebook, or by phone. I pray right then and there. God is so good! Thanks for the post and God bless you richly. -Bobbi

This is so true, Ginger. Too many times when we don't get the answer we want, we just give up and quit praying. Big mistake. Thank you for sharing this.
Blessings,
Charlotte

Good words!! In some situations it's hard to keep praying and not give up. Thanks for the encouragement. (I love these shorter, to the point posts.)

Hello Ginger,
Prayer changes things! Prayer is the most powerful form of communication known to man! As His children, we are called to pray. Thank you for your post.

Hi Ginger,
I loved your comment about the healthy eating...my problem is concentrating on all this food makes me hungry...lol (And I had been on a low carb diet for 5 weeks.)
I wanted to tell you about an amazing book...It is called Secrets of a Prayer Warrior by Derek Prince...it is life-changingly amazing...I don't know if you've read it but I just started reading it this week and it is so invaluable.
I am trying my darndest to put it into practice...
Hope you are having a sunny California Sunday.
Love,
Cindy

Some of the sweetest moments as a parent is teaching your young child to pray, listening to their prayers, and then the day when your child initiates prayer.

A very timely word for all of us, Ginger. I know the Lord does not want us to give up! Sometimes it's hard.

Thank you for the reminder to pray more often. When life gets busy it is a good idea to just stop, pray, reflect and be still.

Thanks so much for your kind words on my Spiritual Sunday post last week. It really meant a lot to me.

Best wishes,
Natasha.
