I'm so excited to be a part of Simple Pleasures today. With the way the economy has been over the last couple of years I seem to notice these simple pleasure more often. Please join in on all the fun just go to the blog A Collection of this and that and join in.

One of my favorite things that touch my heart is when I have my kitchen window open and there is a breeze. I love when the wind blows my lace curtains. I have a small wind chime there as well so I here the small sweet sound of the chimes in my window as well. It just puts a smile on my face. Thank-you Dayle for this wonderful way to mingle.

Oops ... guess my first comment didn't make it for some reason. HA! I'll start over.

Love, love that photograph of the wind blowing through the window. I can almost feel the breeze from here. It's a perfect Simple Pleasures post and I'm so glad you joined us. I hope to see more of you in the future, sweet Ginger.

Love this simple pleasure, Ginger. I love it when the weather is cool enough here to open the windows and let a breeze blow in. Right now it would be a very very warm breeze.

What a lovely picture and I can just imagine the wind chimes tinkling...

I'm visiting from the link party, and this is my first visit to your blog.

Such a lovely post today. Yes, the sound of wind chimes is delightful. And a gentle breeze IS lovely, especially on a hot summer day...though where I live it's often more heavy gusts than gentle breezes.

Blessings on your day,

Ginger, What a lovely post. I love the lace curtains in the breeze. I enjoy them too.

I began to enjoy this one before I read the first word because of the wonderful picture. You know, living in the south as I so, I don't have my windows open as often as I should. It's either too muggy or too hot or too full of pollen or... and all my excuses make me miss that simple pleasure you posted!

Oops! I meant to write equisite ... pardon my fumbles!
... and have yourself a beautiful evening my friend!

Oh my goodness - that even looks like a simple pleasure to me - a real place to rest and relax!

To be able to breathe!

Nice to meet you.

I love having the windows open too! We don't have air conditioning right now and so I've been enjoying open windows and summer breezes for the last few months! I'm anxious to get our new air conditioner installed though. It sure was a hot summer!

Ah, the simple pleasures...Seems that whenever I focus on those, they just get more complicated. :/

Ginger... My parents still live off of Los Coyotes, between Spring and Willow. I went to Millikan. So did, Susy at The Feathered Nest, only a few years before me. I graduated in '76. Then, I lived in Lakewood on Palo Verde for 12.5 years. I'm sure we crossed paths at least once in our lives.

Have a great evening,
