that image of the curtains blowing..the sweet smell from outside....yum.
And Ginger...I read your comment you wrote about reading my book. Thank you for that, for what you said. ☺
P.S. Thanks for co-hosting Spiritual Sundays. It's a blessing.
Oops ... guess my first comment didn't make it for some reason. HA! I'll start over.
Love, love that photograph of the wind blowing through the window. I can almost feel the breeze from here. It's a perfect Simple Pleasures post and I'm so glad you joined us. I hope to see more of you in the future, sweet Ginger.
Love this simple pleasure, Ginger. I love it when the weather is cool enough here to open the windows and let a breeze blow in. Right now it would be a very very warm breeze.
Hugs,
Charlotte
What a lovely picture and I can just imagine the wind chimes tinkling...
I'm visiting from the link party, and this is my first visit to your blog.
Such a lovely post today. Yes, the sound of wind chimes is delightful. And a gentle breeze IS lovely, especially on a hot summer day...though where I live it's often more heavy gusts than gentle breezes.
Blessings on your day,
Patti ~ Fill My Cup with Beauty
Ginger, What a lovely post. I love the lace curtains in the breeze. I enjoy them too.
I began to enjoy this one before I read the first word because of the wonderful picture. You know, living in the south as I so, I don't have my windows open as often as I should. It's either too muggy or too hot or too full of pollen or... and all my excuses make me miss that simple pleasure you posted!
I love the photo, Ginger. I can almost feel the gentle breeze.
Blessings,
Joan
This picture is just quisite! When I think of lace curtains I remember Mama ... and feel so comforted.
Oops! I meant to write equisite ... pardon my fumbles!
... and have yourself a beautiful evening my friend!

Oh my goodness - that even looks like a simple pleasure to me - a real place to rest and relax!
To be able to breathe!
Nice to meet you.

Ginger,
I do love to see the breeze blowing through sheer curtains...yours are lovely! Thank you so much for stopping by to say "hi" and leaving a nice comment. Good to "see" you again!

The wind chime and the breeze - what a lovely combination. Such a lovely photo of your Simple Pleasure too.
I love having the windows open too! We don't have air conditioning right now and so I've been enjoying open windows and summer breezes for the last few months! I'm anxious to get our new air conditioner installed though. It sure was a hot summer!
Ginger.. great post..
and so visual.. I could almost feel and hear the breeze blowing through that curtain..
that nice.. and you got to love the simple pleasures.. they are the ones God gave us..they are the best...
I like your shutters. Your blog is so pretty.
Hugs,
Charlotte
Ah, the simple pleasures...Seems that whenever I focus on those, they just get more complicated. :/
Ginger... My parents still live off of Los Coyotes, between Spring and Willow. I went to Millikan. So did, Susy at The Feathered Nest, only a few years before me. I graduated in '76. Then, I lived in Lakewood on Palo Verde for 12.5 years. I'm sure we crossed paths at least once in our lives.
Have a great evening,
KJ
The minute I saw the picture it brought me pleasure too. It's so peaceful and inviting. I love it! Makes me want to go and open up all my windows too.
