When I was 17 my dad past away and since then my mom has remarried a wonderful man, they have been married for about 25 years. His granddaughter a women of her own and a mother of a 3 year old has been diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome(GBS). It is an autoimmune disorder affecting the peripheral nervous system. Wikipedia has a good article explaining what it is. She has lost mobility of her legs. It is curable if caught in time, but it can also be fatal if other complications are present. I am asking for prayers for this wonderful young mother. Her name is Laura thank-you. For more prayer request and other devotions please visit Spiritual Sunday HERE

I am so sorry to hear this, Ginger. I am praying for her. It's sad for anyone to have diseases like this but especially when they are young with young children.
Blessings,
Charlotte

Dear Ginger,
I'm very sorry to hear this! I too have been stricken with an autoimmune disorder and my youngest son was only eight when I was diagnosed with it. So, I can certainly relate to her and I will most definitely be praying for her. God bless her and her family! Thank you for sharing.

Blessings,
Sandi

This is what is awesome with SS, aside from being able to lift each other up, we can also join in prayers. Praying for her healing sister Ginger and may the Lord comfort her and give her the strength that she needs, same with her family. God bless.

Yes prayers are coming her way! I will keep praying too... I'm not familiar with this illness- so I will go to Wikipedia to learn more.

Oh my heart and prayers go out to this young mother. Yes, I will add her to my prayers. This Ozark farm chick is so happy I dropped by.

From the happy hills and hollers of the Missouri Ponderosa, ya'll have a wonderfully blessed day!!!
