I don't have any shelves in my kitchen window because it's north facing. But I do LOVE any extra space to put plants and pretties. Great inspiration pictures.

I agree, it would be worth the work to have such a pretty display in your kitchen.

I have always wanted to do that as well, but our townhouse does not have windows to look out wile I do dishes. I love looking at other peoples ideas looking at the final outcome of of it.

I have side shelves in my kitchen window. They run along the sides of the cabinets and I put little knick knacks on them. Harvey also made me places to hang coffee mugs on them.

I do love those shelves though and it gives me an idea for my sewing room.

I don't have shelves in my kitchen window but I do have a wondow sill and it's amazing how much it will hold! I also have shelf units on each side of the window which hold knick-knack's right now but I am planning to put some plants on some of them too.

I have two little shelves on either side of my kitchen window- where I keep odds & ends. On the kitchen window shelf I have a little old wooden red bird that my youngest son gave me probably about twenty years ago...
