John 16:33
December 11,2010

This has been a long week for me. I was so undecided on what to post about this weekend. My mind has been across the board with different emotions. This could be one reason why I have posted later than normal. I just thought that I would share this verse that has been on my heart this week.

John 16:33
33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Please visit Spiritual Sunday for some wonderful scriptures, songs, and devotionals.
God Bless,
Ginger

I like the verse you chose. And what a perfect time to share it...when we are celebrating the birth of the Prince of Peace. May we all be filled with the peace He came to give us.

Hi Ginger,

That you so much for sharing this particular scripture. I think that when so much turmoil swirls around my life, I can take comfort in knowing that Christ gives me peace. Not the kind of peace the world searches for in things, but a peace that surpasses all human understanding and comprehension; the peace of Almighty God.

I'm remembering you in my prayers, that the peace of God guards your heart, soul and mind.

Blessings and peace.

When we face difficult times , and our world if filled with trials and our lives becomes very stressful .Jesus Christ is there to give us inner peace and he is able to calm every storm that we go through. Thank God that, when we have exhausted all our resources he is there with his love and his grace to see us through.
John 16:33 My favorite verse ever….

Your words speak truth and I love that verse as well! I'm sorry to hear about the break-in. I pray that those items taken can be replaced, but also grateful that no matter how shaken, you stand firm in your faith and you know that what God has given you can never be taken away!
