A Rainbow

On Thursday there was the most amazing double rainbow in the sky. It was probable one of the top 5 most beautiful things that I have seen. On one side of the sky where the rainbow was it had this amazing glow it was so strong even the inside of our home had a glow to it ,and on the other side of the sky it was so blue it looked like a blue marker had just colored half the sky. It was hot and then it started to rain. Then on Friday, the Lord shared another beautiful rainbow with us.

Genesis 9:13-16

12 And God said, "This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: 13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. 16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth."

I love the new look of your blog! So pretty! Oh, rainbows are so awesome. They always remind me of the promises of God. I remember one really hard day, early in Ron's cancer journey, when I was driving home and as I pulled into our street.. there was a rainbow directly over our house. It was as if God was saying, "Remember me! I am with you. I will never leave you." Thanks for sharing this post!
Love you.

Beautiful, Ginger. I only remember seeing one double rainbow and I didn't have my camera with me. I'm glad you guys got some rain. Wish some of it would come over our way. Love the fall look of your blog. It's beautiful.

The Lord blessed my husband & I with a beautiful double rainbow as we were heading home from a trip to Flagstaff 2 years ago and he ended up in the hospital. I knew it was a "God wink" to us and an assurance that we were indeed going to get back to Oklahoma safe and sound. We did and he had open heart surgery 3 days later. God is so very wonderful to us and knows just what we need, when we need it.

Your picture and description are beautiful. Thank you.

Hello dear Ginger, I wrote on here yesterday and my computer cut out, so my I find it didn't go through.. Not to worry.
The rainbow is very different to most I have seen. I think we all get a joy out of them, they are such marvelous things. Very ethereal like a transparent vapour which I suppose in some way, they are. My daughter tells me they have 7 colours? I always try to count them yet they merge together. Seven, Jesus perfect number. Much love Crystal Mary
