This man's message delivery is so stirring! I posted him last year, but not to the movie. You are right, it's graphic, but then, so it was that Friday 2,000 years ago. Praise God, Sunday came!

Blessed Easter.

My hubby and I watched the movie last night and try to always on Good Friday. It is horribly graphic, but then I can only imagine how it really was to watch in reality. What He suffered and went through for us was sooo unbelievably awful. Praise God He is risen. I would love to see them make a movie about the resurrection. How wonderful would that be? Have a wonderfullu blessed Easter Ginger. Debbie

This is tough "stuff." But it is true and we need to know it! Praise God Sunday came! VICTORY! Thanks for posting.

I get a paper cut or two at work and how much I whine sometimes. To think that it's nothing compared to what the Lord had to endure...Worst of all, to be spiritually separated from our Father, as He took on the sins of the world...Thanks be to Jesus for His sacrifice...Happy Resurrection day sister Ginger and God bless you always.

This is very touching. I don't think we can fully realize the horror of what our Lord endured for us.
Each time I consider this I am humbled a little more.
Wishing you a blessed Resurrection Day.inglig

Blessed and Wonderful Resurrection celebration to you & yours Ginger!

I did not watch. I know it's the truth, the horrendous passion of Jesus but I can't watch it! I started to and the narration was powerful...
which my heart could take it. I turn down many songs I like that use these scenes...thanks for the warning!

May your day be joyous & blessed!

Hello Ginger, this scene always makes me cry. Our church had a similar play this morning that was just as painful to watch. However, we need to reminded of how Jesus suffered for us. I'm glad you shared this today.

Easter Blessing to you and your family.

Hi Ginger, I just got back from vacation to Arizona. I thought of you when I was at the Chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona, and said prayers for all my friends at Spiritual Sundays! God bless you.
