Here is the poem that I wanted to post last week,I hope you enjoy it. This is a poem by a man name Mike Bullock.
Resolution
I've made a resolution
I think you'll be impressed
I'm going to take a step of faith
And slowly get undressed
Removing things that I've accrued
The baggage I've amassed
The trappings gained from sources wide
The weight of which is vast.
Underneath this bulging mass
There lies a simple soul
Simple walk, a simple faith
That's always been my goal
I've tried to do it many ways
The do's and don'ts are rife
But I am who I am, you see
An individual life.
So back to basics I will go
And get to know my Dad
A personal relationship
Is ready to be had
I've messed around these many years
And dropped out of the race
A simple walk, a simple faith
I need to seek His face.

Oh Boy, all of us have to admit we all have it. Wow, wouldn't it be great if we could take it off and discard like clothes. Some things we do this with and then later down the track we go find them and hold on to them once more..I need to spring clean my own life. Bless you sweet lady. xx

Slowly but surely. I'm 76 and I'm still undressing from all the baggage I picked up. Along the way I dumped a lot of "stuff" but picked up some different "stuff" that I didn't need. Thanks for the good poem.

Hi Ginger,

This is a great poem, I especially like the last four lines...it's so true. We do need to seek Him first; He is our very life!
