Faith

Over the past two weeks I have not truly been myself. I ask for prayers and I want to thank-you. Our home was broken into a couple of weeks ago and it seems like each day I find something else they took. Someone ask me if it makes me question my faith. I was shocked, as this never even entered my mind. No matter what happens to me it will never affect my faith.

John 10:10

10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

I just wanted to let you know that I will be working this weekend Saturday and Sunday. My husband will be home reading Spiritual Sundays although he does not comment on them he does enjoy reading them. I will try hard to visit everyone. Here is the link to Spiritual Sunday just in case you have not visited us yet, we hope that you will.

God Bless,
Ginger

I'm sorry Ginger...to hear your house was broken into. But I like what you said though...that nothing will shake your faith...and nothing can. Even though you're working....I hope the weekend is the best for you.

Hi Ginger,

I'm sorry to learn that someone burglarized your home. I pray that whatever was stolen points that person to Jesus Christ. Lord help them realize that real value cannot be found in things but in the person of Your Son. May they turn from criminal acts, repent, and find grace and forgiveness. Show them the way of restitution.

Blessings to you and your husband.

I'm so sorry about this, Ginger. I know how it feels. Someone broke into our house when we lived in Stockton and took lots of stuff. After several months the thieves were found and we got a lot of our stuff back, but not everything. The scripture you gave is so appropriate. I'm praying for you guys.
Hugs & blessings,

I am so sorry to hear that your home was broken into. It must be difficult to deal with the things you lost and the vulnerablility you feel. Your faith shines through this trial! May God surround you with the hedge of protection and may these thieves be caught and your stuff recovered.
Have a blessed Christmas....

Our home was burgularized once, too. They made a huge mess, took all of music CDs and electronic equipment. The sheriff said they were in our house no more than 5 minutes. Three other homes in our neighborhood were also hit. You feel so violated... the uneasy feeling can last for quite awhile. So, I will remember you in my prayers. May the peace of the Lord surround you!

I am so sorry Ginger. Our family will remember you in our prayers.
My heart is sad and scarry experience to have to go through.. Praying you feel His love, and protection over you in the days to come. Praying a high hedge of Protection in the Name of Jesus...
Love,
Virginia

So sorry to hear about your break-in, especially at this time of year. If not for faith in God, it would be utterly devastating. Will be praying for you as you get through this tough time.

So sorry to hear this. I've seen this also on other blogs. May the Lord return to you seven fold what the thieves took.

That has to be so disheartening that someone would care so little for you that they would violate the sanctity of your home. My prayers are with you all.

We've experienced this as well and it's so hard! Be sure to stay on top of the insurance reimbursement, if any. We lost a lot of tools. The insurance would only reimburse a partial amount, then we had to buy the items, submit the receipt and they'd send us more reimbursement. We had one year but in that year we also had to fit in moving and a new job so time ran out before we finished. Twas an odd way to do things, but... :) God provided in many other ways though, so that was such a blessing.

Praying for you for encouragement, and praising God for your wonderful example of steadfast faith!

Oh, Ginger, I'm sorry your home was broken into; such a violation of your privacy! I pray that the Lord will return to you all that you hold dear; a seven fold! Praying for you.

Dear Ginger,

I stopped by to wish you and John a blessed New Year! The work you do at Spiritual Sundays has really impacted my life. You've been a blessing to me, and I wanted to also thank you for taking the time to visit me today at Create With Joy!

I'm really sorry to hear that your house was recently burglarized; we've had that happen before and understand only to well the sense of unease and violation that act bringes with it.

I am praying that God removes any lingering effects from that incident and brings His perfect peace back upon you and your household again...
that He places a hedge of safety around your house... and I praise God that only things were taken, and that you and your husband remain safe to sing God's praises another day!

Love & Blessings
Ramona
