My husband and I still need window coverings. We are going to but shutters on the front window but on the windows in the dinning room I really like this lace. I wanted to put a scallop shade underneath. I have always loved that look. Here are just a couple of pictures I found although the shade is not exactly what I had in mind it's the only one I could find . I truly need to add some homey things into our home so I think this may work. I am just window shopping for now but just thought I would share.

Good morning, sweet friend,
Thank you for stopping by and leaving such sweet words on my dining room. I so appreciate them!
The pictures of the lace curtains and pretty shade are great. You just can't seem to go wrong with pretty lace curtains! I am looking forward to seeing your windows when you choose what you want and get them hung!
Hope you have a good day....
hugs, bj

I love the idea of a scalloped shade with lace window coverings. Would definitely add a homey touch to the room.

Ginger we're moving this summer and planning on buying a house. I really want to have shades in the house and not use any mini blinds. I think they would be much easier to keep clean. I love the look with the lace curtains! I'll have to remember that.

I really love the look of the lace.
Lace adds a touch of elegance in a room.

I'm not very good at window treatments, and if I could I would just have the windows free of curtains...but since we do like our privacy- I have roll blinds or curtains that can shut the light out, etc...

Hi,
I think the lace curtain is adorable, but if you have a fantastic view that the first choice would be better. Eater one is great. I also like curtains but also like to "see through".

Enjoy your week. Suzy

Ginger, this afternoon my son got the mail for me and the mail lady gave him a box. Of course, both children wanted to know what was in it. So I had help opening. When I first opened the box, I saw a little card and the bottle of lavendar. My thought was, my that was a big box for the lavendar spray, but then I realized there was more! Now, I love the smell of lavender and sprayed that right away! Wonderful! Then I read the label of the others and thought they were quite interesting. I don't remember ever smelling bath & body items that were maple scented. Those are absolutely wonderful too. Even dh liked the smell of the lotion! So, thank you very much for the wonderfully scented gifts! I will use them often and think of you and your wonderful blog!
