God Created All Animals
God created all the animals (Psalm 104).
"Then God commanded, 'Let the earth produce all kinds of animal life; domestic and wild, large and small, and it was done. So God made them all, and He was pleased with what He saw." Genesis 1:24, 25
All animals belong to God (Psalm 24:1).
God cares for the animals (1 John 4:16).
This is a video that I just loved. I hope you take a moment and watch it. God is so wonderful.

January 20, 2010 Pressure Cookers
Have you ever cooked with a pressure cooker? A few years ago a lady from our church came to our home with her moms pressure cooker, mind you this woman is about 80 so this was a old pressure cooker. If only it could talk can you just imagine the wonderful stories it could tell. Anyway this woman and I canned asparagus. I enjoyed myself so much that day, and enjoyed this ladies company tremendously. Well to my surprise when she left our home she told me that this pressure cooker was mine to keep. This was such a special gift and I told myself that I would use it often. Well I hate to admit this but I have not used it, but would still like to. I'm afraid to use this by myself because of all the stories I have heard, stories about them blowing up. If anyone has any suggestions for me I would greatly appreciate them.
January 16, 2010Friendships
Ecclesiastes 4:10
If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and
has no one to help him up.
I had my daughter at a very young age. I have never had the time or energy to truly have what you might call a best friend. After being married for 20 years I can truly say that my husband is there to give me his hand when I need it. Thank-you Lord for my best friend, my husband.

Gold Canyon Candles
There is one thing that my husband and I love and that's candles. We always have them going. We love candles that have great aromas, not all candles are worth the price because they have no aroma. I found these candles a few years back and we love them! They are reasonable and they have one of the best aromas. Over the past year I have been thinking about selling these wonderful candles but hey I didn't want to rush into anything. I will be going to a meeting on Tuesday and after that I will make my decision. I just don't want to ask people to have parties, I just want to sell them from my blog, and to individuals who just want to buy candles for themselves. I hope that you will check back to find out the verdict.
Have you ever heard of Gold Canyon Candles?

Lending a Hand
Lending a Hand
From One Minute Prayers for Women
She opens her arms to the poor and extends her had to the needy.
Proverbs 31:20
To whom should I give today? Whom can I help? Let me start the day with this
question,Lord. If I am asking to be of service, then I cannot ignore the opportunities when they arise. I have looked into needy faces and kept walking. I think too much about such things. My mind asks, "How can I fix someones life?
You ask me to be a woman of charity and kindness. My actions to be a woman of charity and kindness. My action to assist another child of God
become a part of your will for that person. You are not calling me to fix her,
to make her whole. Only you can do that. My job is to lend a hand along the way.
