If they are made in England I trust them....I get frustrated wondering at times--but I suppose for ones you don't use too often it may not matter! Oh I read the site you referred me to on the electrical savings. We do have a front loading washing machine and that does save too...however...I really don't like it as much as the top loading because you can't really soak things. I don't feel it cleans as well either. It is nice because it is quite and it uses less water and it automatically gages the amount of water to use. BUT you spend more money on detergent for it! Like I said, our minisplits have saved us bunches--it is direct heating and cooling and doesn't have all the duct work. Also the new windows we put in about 5 years ago made a big difference. I still can't believe dishwashers are better than hand washing but it assumes you use the energy savings cycle--don't use the heating for drying and don't rinse your dishes first. We do have the special light bulbs which I love because we only do have to replace them once in five years. We were changing bulbs about 3-4 every month before that time. Have a nice week--we are leaving on vacation today for the mountains--don't know if we will have internet or not!nannykim/ spindle cottagehttp://spindlecottage.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5761103468165795612.post-11219138811183445842009-09-20T10:33:18.769-04:002009-09-20T10:33:18.769-04:00My favorite tea pot is the one I got for my weddin...My favorite tea pot is the one I got for my wedding 38 years ago from a friend from Germany. I still have it. But, when I was in California, I found a neat one-cup tea pot with a mesh insert that I love to use for loose tea!Saleslady371https://www.blogger.com/profile/15962608799409882219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5761103468165795612.post-73341912892747481432009-09-20T10:20:11.779-04:002009-09-20T10:20:11.779-04:00What a lovely teapot!

IF and this is a big IF, you can sell linens,teapots--or both, go for it. You like them so much that even if you just make enough to pay for your gas and car expenses it would be a fun thing for you. Just don't sell my wife any. We have enough of both. First the Lord, then family, and then tea, teacups and teapots. I have purchased many online, usually on ebay, but other sources as well. If you've never visited Sandy Clough's website, you might find some beautiful china with scripture that are lovely for you or as a gift. The teapot in your picture is sweet and lovely...I can see you pouring tea from it!

God bless,
MaryMaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15369867469773842215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5761103468165795612.post-71724117443898369472009-09-17T15:26:31.771-04:002009-09-17T15:26:31.771-04:00Hi Ginger,
