Especially important in the humidity I now live in. :) PTL -

HE knows what color it really is (salt and pepper), and I keep it pretty short to also make it quick and easy to deal with - have to coz when you're caring for elderly parents and playing tag with cute little grandkids, you have to make the most of EVERY moment. :)

Thanks again for a fun chat and good food for thought (and hair - hehehehe). :)
Have a blessed week.Kaye Swain - SandwichINK for the Sandwich Generationhttp://www.SandwichINK.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5761103468165795612.post-21988996411566593252010-08-07T15:41:23.587-04:002010-08-07T15:41:23.587-04:00Hi Ginger - I like your attitude. Now, I fully admit that there's tons of gray in there naturally (& they just color a lighter auburn giving a lovely mix in the color!). But I like what my mom said best. She used to hold up her hair & say "You see all these gray hairs? I EARNED EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM!!!!" Amen Mom!

Side note from others' comments...I, too, am enjoying this age, but...why didn't anyone in the generation before us tell us this & that was going to happen to our bodies no matter what we TRIED TO DO to prevent it?! (notice the "tried to do" part...we never succeed at fooling father time!) And, I for one, am glad to be just who God made me to be...splotches, skin tags, gray hairs, "age spots", weight "redistribution" no matter how much you diet & exercise,and all...but with auburn hair!! ;o}

I'm glad to follow you & invite you to do so!Merana Leighhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06651075269911984143noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5761103468165795612.post-53642699107366417302010-08-07T06:56:16.819-04:002010-08-07T06:56:16.819-04:00My mom was visually impaired most of my life and n...My mom was visually impaired most of my life and never knew what color of hair, skin etc. anyone had...she only perceived their heart. Still trying to decide which way to go on that issue. I was reading a Scripture just this week, something about gray hair, and it's seen as an honor in the Bible.
